At the ag of 34, William Walker bought 108 acres from Elisha B. Long in the summer of 1827.

Two years later, he purchased an additional 15 acres to the East from Minerva Long.

When he died in 1877, he left all his land to his youngest son, Robert.

Robert drowned in the Grenville canal in 1887 and his estate sold this land to the Graham family.
